A young, highly professional and motivated team greets you at 1291 Bed & Breakfast. We are located on 55th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues, right in the heart of Manhattan. Times Square and Central Park are in walking distance.

Bed and Breakfast Description

We provide for all our guests: Lounge with a big screen TV, relaxing backyard, kitchen facility equipped with refrigerator, microwave and utensils to cook. Guests may use our laundry facility (in the evening).

There is easy access to public transportation. The bus- and subway station are just 5 minutes away. There are also many supermarkets, restaurants, bars in this area as well as the famous Modern Art Museum (MOMA).

Our prices include all taxes and charges and bed linen and towels.
There is a $20 key deposit for each key taken out and returned by check out.

Payment can only be made either in cash or in traveler’s checks.
5% surcharge for Credit Card payments added.

In case of a no show or a cancellation less than 10 days in advance, a total of first 2 nights will be charged.
All prices include bedsheets and towels!

Every room also gets a cellphone during their stay. With it, you can make nationwide calls and receive international calls for free.

ROOM DESCRIPTIONS:

Private rooms: Each room is equipped with small fridge, sink and closet – the hall bathroom is shared.
·Basic: double or queen size bed
·Top: double or queen size bed + TV

Studio/Suite/Duplex: These are an alternative to a hotel room, equipped with a private bathroom and kitchen. They can fit anywhere from 4 to 8 people depending on the room. All including a king or a queen size bed and a pullout couch, some also include one or two bunk beds. It's like living like a real New Yorker.

Our Black & White Room: A nice room all in black and white. There is a double bed, a sink, a closet, a TV, stereo, and a little office table. The bathroom on this floor is shared with three other rooms.
