The beautifully restored 1857 Federal Victorian home rests in the Historic District. Just blocks from Bucknell University. Susquehanna University and Penn State University are a short but scenic drive form the inn. Beautiful architecture, great antiquing.

A delightful, full breakfast is prepared each morning by Charles, and served in the formal dining room. You will find delicacies such as Amish slab-cut bacon, country fresh brown eggs, Amish whole wheat, white, or raisin breads, granolas, apple butter, and jams, plus cider, fresh orange juice, and beverages. It is all included in your tariff.

Enjoy complimentary tea in the afternoons, as well as locally made, pineapple-shaped chocolates.

For well over twenty years, Deborah and Charles have opened their home to welcome all guests in the spirit of hospitality. After all, that is what the pineapple is the symbol of. Come and see and enjoy for yourselves.

    Most Popular Rooms:

    Canterbury Room: Features furniture that belonged to the Archbishop of Canterbury (circa 1880-1890), as well as a collection of English treasures. It has a queen-size brass bed and a private bath with a clawfoot tub and shower.

    The Garden Suite: Uniquely combines a full kitchen facility with two guestrooms. A twin sized day bed accommodates one guest while the adjoining bedroom includes a king sized bed and sitting area with television. The view overlooks the garden courtyard.
