Schroon Lake is conveniently located between Lake George and Lake Placid, with Vermont just to our East. Easy access to I-87 makes it a great location to experience everything the Adirondacks has to offer, and then return to our quaint village to rejuvenate.

Schroon Lake is also bordered by Three Wilderness areas, Pharoh Mountain, Hoffmans Notch and The Dixs. These three areas provide unlimited outdoor recreation opportunities, for every level of experience.

The Village of Schroon Lake is located a 1/2 mile up the road from the Inn, it boasts many delicious restaurants, 100 year old general store, antique shops, grocery store, other unique shops, plus a restored Art Deco movie theater and coffee house.

There are hundreds of trails, lakes and streams for hiking, biking, bird watching, fishing, canoeing and kayaking. Bring and enjoy your own water toys - boat, canoe, kayak, etc... Many can be launched right from our property or put in up river and pulled out at our sandy beach access. Explore the numerous surrounding waterways for increased variety and different challenge levels.
