    Sweetwater Branch Inn is proud to support its local community and invites you to visit our local theatre: The Hippodrome State Theatre. Housed in the historic Federal Building, at walking distance from our Inn, The Hippodrome has produced more than one hundred world, American and Southeastern premieres in its 25 year history. Acclaimed playwrights such as Tennessee Williams, Eric Bentley, Paula Vogel, Lee Breuer, Adrian Mitchell and Mario Vargas Llosa have developed new works on the Hippodrome stage. In addition to its mainstage season, the Hippodrome screens first-run foreign, limited-release and avant-garde films.

    If you're looking for short excursions, Paynes Prairie State Preserve and a number of other parks are within 15 minutes drive from Sweetwater Branch Inn. Please contact us if you're interested in an excursion package.

    Most Popular Rooms:

    Honeymoon Cottage: Our most popular room. It has open rafter ceilings, canopy queen size bed, two-person tub in living room, and double sided fireplace in bedroom. Full bath and kitchen. Nestled in our gardens.

    Tea Rose Room: This elegantly furnished room features a fireplace with a spectacular oak mantel, a classic Persian rug, Italian chandelier, and spacious bathroom that includes a Jacuzzi tub for two. Relax in a turn-of-the-century mahogany queen size bed.

    Guests arriving after 9pm, please call ahead to make arrangements for late check in. Thanks, 1-800-595-7760.


    Reservation Notes:

    If you cancel your room anytime after making the reservation, a $10.00 cancellation fee will be charged to your credit card. Weekday reservations require a three-day cancellation; weekends require a seven-day cancellation notice. Holidays & Special weekends (including UF home games, UF Graduation, and other special occasions) require a 30-day advanced notice for cancellation. Block Booking reservations requires a 90-day cancellation..
