    Area Attractions and Activities:

Historic Groveland is just 23 miles from Yosemite National Park's northwest gate and only minutes from the Tuolumne River's Class IV white water rafting. Wander through the Gold Rush era town to find everything from a quirky nursery/coffee house to antiques. The Sierras attract many artists and Groveland has its share of photographers, painters, quilters, woodcarvers, and hand thrown pottery. Look for gold in the nearby creeks and rivers (yes, we still find it), find old mines and visit Rainbow Pools. Come for our summer Yosemite Courtyard Theatre with live professional entertainment or visit us in the winter for live theater with the locals.
Find great pizza, Mexican, BBQ, fine dining, great wine, historic saloons and more.
The Sierras provide year-round sports from biking, hiking and photography to snowshoeing, downhill and cross-country skiing. Come stay a while and see for yourself!
Aviators: Nearby is Pine Mountain Lake and Pine Mountain Lake General Aviation Airport (E45).

    Most Popular Rooms:

Room 115 has a queen bed, bay windows and our resident ghost, Lyle, a gold panner who died in 1927 and apparently never checked out. He is easy to get along with, but likes playing tricks on our Head Housekeeper, Aimee. Ask Innkeeper Peggy for stories!

Each distinctive room is beautifully appointed with European antiques, feather beds with down comforters, luxurious robes, private baths and items to make your stay special. Suites include spa tubs, and a parlor with fireplace and sofa bed.
