My Island B&B is a collection of historic bed and breakfast rooms, garden units, cottages and houses. Most are nestled in floral gardens, others in Volcano Village on the edge of Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Bed and Breakfast Description

My Island B&B Inn's main complex is situated on a 7 acre estate in Volcano Village. Since half of the property has been landscaped with over 300 types of flowers, trees, and shrubs, there is abundant year round color. Newly developed is a "rainforest" trail that wanders through primitive growth within the property.

The main historic house was built in 1886, and has three guestrooms, all with shared baths. Newer construction of the Garden Units offers three rooms with private entrances and private bathrooms. My Island B&B Inn also offers one modern guest house, starting at $150.00 per night for two people.

All accommodations includes a generous continental, all you can eat breakfast, which is served each morning from 7 until 8:30 a.m. in the main historic house.

For 22 years, My Island has been and continues to be a family-owned and operated Inn. Owners Gordon and Joann Morse, along with daughter Kii Morse and family cat, Maka (a Snowshoe Siamese), welcome you to join them.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Located in Volcano Village, just one mile from the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, My Island B&B is a great place to stay over night. There are plenty of hiking trails and sights to see in the park.

My Island offers self-guiding pamphlets and flashlights and umbrellas to their guests to aid in their adventures. Volcano Village is 26 miles from the Hilo airport, and 98 miles from the Kona airport.

Volcano Village is home to the world's only "drive-in" volcano. Great hiking, spectacular Kilauea Crater, Thomas A Jagger Museum, Thurston Lava Tube, Sulphur Banks, Art Galleries, restaurants, and more.

Most Popular Rooms:

The most popular room in the main historic house is the In-Law Room, which is on the first floor. Has traditional wainscotting and a queen bed, with an adjacent bathroom.

For those who wish for a little more privacy, one of our Garden Units is a good choice. They have a private entrance, private bathroom, refrigerator, and a shared patio overlooking the beautiful gardens.
