 Built in 1914 on the foundations of the James Moore family’s 1874 home, The Moore Farm House Bed & Breakfast continues a long tradition of warm hospitality. If your travels take you along the Carolina coast, stay with us at The Moore Farm House located in Conway, SC, only a few miles from Myrtle Beach. You’ll stay in one of the four inviting rooms formerly occupied by the Moore daughters in the early 1900s. Select a book from the well-stocked library, chalk up a cue for a friendly game of billiards, or join us in the living room for good conversation, all in a smoke-free environment. When you ascend the original staircase to your room on the second floor, you’ll find all the comforts of home. Enjoy a relaxing soak in your own private whirlpool, slip into a soft terrycloth robe, and watch TV or a DVD before you fall into the plush comfort of a bed that will lull you to sleep. In the morning, a gourmet breakfast designed for guests of the Moore Farm House by our executive chef from the acclaimed Chattanoogan Hotel, in Chattanooga, TN, awaits you. If you’d like, we can introduce you to Mozart and Salieri, our two astonishingly large farmhouse cats. Explore Conway’s Waccamaw River by foot, canoe, or riverboat. Walk under 100 year-old live oak trees draped with Spanish moss, and eat in one of the town’s many fine restaurants or enjoy the sun/fun city of Myrtle Beach. Area Attractions and Activities: Shop the outlet stores, enjoy the beaches, dine in fine restaurants, explore the Waccamaw River, see one of the many Myrtle Beach extravagances or just play pool in the library. Services: WiFi connection, ceiling fans, TV & DVD, plush terrycloth robes, whirlpool tubs, library, pool table Most Popular Rooms: Celeste's Room: This spacious room has a pewter-finish queen iron canopy bed with Old World style and a whirlpool tub. A beautiful armoire compliments the lightness of the room. A 27" TV/DVD player, Internet connection and desk are included. Myrtle's room: Has a king size bed. The shower is beautifully tiled & designed for two people with two shower heads & his and her controls. The large pine armoire contains a 27" TV & DVD player. Room also has an antique desk with high speed Internet. Check In Instructions: Guests arriving after 6pm please call and notify us with your time of arrival so we can make arrangements.
