Located within walking distance of downtown and within 1/2 mile of the beach and Bay Creek Golf Course and Marina. Afternoon wine & cheese. Gourmet breakfast. Bikes, beach towels, and beach bags provided. Area Attractions and Activities: Cape Charles's public beaches on the Chesapeake Bay are westerly facing with spectacular sunsets. The beach extends one-half mile along Bay Avenue with a paved walkway bordering the length of the beachfront. Residents and visitors of the Town use the beach for swimming, sunbathing and similar recreational pursuits. Public access onto the beach is provided by two wooden walkovers located near the end of Tazewell and Randolph Avenues, as well as the Town’s Fishing Pier which also has a wooden walkover. Classical & Patriotic music each night at sunset. Other Activities Include Biking, Hiking, Antiquing, Historical Landmarks, Golfing, Fishing, Restaurants, Shopping, Museums.
