Rosewood Homestay is a comfortable, spacious home stay accommodation situated in the town of Motueka, New Zealand. Our hospitality is warm and friendly and on arrival you will be greeted by your hosts, Barbara and Jerry.

Bed and Breakfast Description

We are avid gardeners who take pride in our wonderful garden in particular our roses. Take a stroll and admire some of Barbara's favourite roses.

We will always be available to serve your needs and only too delighted to guide your stay for whatever activities are of interest including fishing (sea or river), golfing and daily excursions. In particular we love to have guests from overseas to share travel experiences with. Our courtyard is also a great place to relax with a glass of fine local wine or a good book.

Rosewood Homestay is situated close to the town of Motueka. Our accommodation facilities include double room with private bathroom, twin room with family share bathroom. A delicious country-style breakfast is provided

A short stroll will take you to cafes, wine bars and restaurants. A 20 minute drive and you are in beautiful Abel Tasman National Park where you can walk between the beaches and bays, kayaking, a launch trip or just laze on beautiful Kaiteriteri Beach.

We guarantee a pleasant stay with warm and friendly hosts and great conversations.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Motueka is the perfect base from which to explore this wonderland of the South Pacific. Kaiteriteri Beach close by is one of the most sort after and attractive beaches in New Zealand. If you are interested in the great outdoors you will find everything on your doorstep. The Abel Tasman National Park is just 20 minutes by car, the Kahurangi National Park is 30 minutes away and Golden Bay and Nelson City are both less than an hour's drive. For the keen skier the Rainbow Ski Field is but one and a half hours drive away. If you are a fisherman, cast your line in the nearby Motueka River where the beautiful brown trout abound.

Motueka boasts some of the best sunshine hours in New Zealand. With its long hot days and warm balmy evenings you will find the climate simply irresistible. From our place take a short stroll to the shops, cafes and galleries. Enjoy the unhurried lifestyle. Visit the Sunday Market and see the uniqueness of the many craftspeople.
