Bed and Breakfast Description

On arrival at 93 By the Sea, park your car out front, and enter through your own private door, step into the private lounge and relax with a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate beside a cozy gas fire. Pop your wine, etc… into the fridge and settle down in front of the TV or explore the many books in the house library.

The Gingkho bedroom opens off the lounge and boasts a King size bed or twin single beds, which ever are preferred. Aligned with the Gingko Room is a truly luxurious bathroom.

Guests may feel free to use the quality brand shampoo, hand lotions, bubble bath, shower gel, soaps or hairdryer. Enjoy a spa bath or large wet floor shower. An infinity gas heater provides a constant hot water supply. The WC and laundry is connected to the bathroom, but separate.

The Rimu Room, is just down the passageway. This room has a queen size bed and features a glimpse of the sea and beautiful, native Rimu wood fittings. An en-suite bathroom is now part of this popular heritage style room.

Breakfast is a shared affair with a delicious and varied meal at a time that suits you. This is enjoyed in the dining area inside, or outside over the garden and looking down to an ever-changing scene of waves, seagulls, surfers, swimmers and miles of beautiful beach.

Walkway & Local Attractions - Buller St leads to a beach park, only metres from the gateway at 93 By the Sea.

From this park you can walk the coastal walkway path towards the Waiwakaiho river (30 mins) or towards the city centre (15 mins) then onto the port and Mt. Paritutu(45 mins). Or choose another way and follow the Te Henui stream up through parkland reserve and Native Bush.

Dabble your toes in the Tasman Sea as you walk our famous black sand beaches. Watch the surfers, join the swimmers,fossick amongst the driftwood. Listen for skylarks in the sand dunes that provide a foreground for Mt. Taranaki that stands sentinel over all.
