"El Angel Azul" is a B&B Inn with the touch of a true Mexican Hacienda.Entering "el angel azul" you notice the ancient walls,covered with washed paint based on natural pigments.Also enjoy the courtyard garden hat has been turned into a small botanical garden with its many species of cactus and other desert plants."El Angel Azul" is quietly secluded in downtown La Paz,just a short walk away to the waterfront (Malecón), restaurants, shops and museums.

At "El Angel Azul" the roots of the architecture from the middle of the last century remain.French windows and seven-point arches show the geometrical lines typical of the time.

The building,formerly the district court house was abandoned for 10 years before it was restored in keeping with its historic value."El Angel Azul" is a La Paz landmark with more than 140 years of history and is an INAH historic monument.

The owner,Esther Ammann arrived in Baja in 1995.She fell in love with La Paz and started to renovate and rebuild "El Angel Azul" in 1998 and is still working on her dream each and every day."El Angel Azul" opened in 1999 with 3 rooms,a restaurant and a gallery.Two years and 7 more rooms later,a very private and special B&B with the most beautiful garden in it’s center was realized.

All rooms are air-conditioned and have private baths.Each room is individually decorated and has a view to the garden.In the courtyard enjoy the calm of the garden where typical Mexican or European breakfasts are served every morning.
