The Cabrera family of Oaxaca have been hosting visitors in their beautiful home located in the historical district since 1988. They share their home and their traditions generously, providing guests with a unique vision of the culture of Mexico.

The traveler seeking a unique experience will be inspired. Accommodations include 8 double rooms and one, two bedroom suite.

Breakfast at Casa de las Bugambilias is a wonderful experience. We serve lavish breakfasts, featuring creative Oaxacan cuisine using the freshest natural ingredients and locally grown organic produce. Served between 8 and 10 am in the dining room and patio. We can adjust the menu for special diets.

We offer a variety of features including a great location, multi-lingual staff, a library with over 500 books and a computer for guests with WiFi Internet access, free local calls, free long distance calls to USA, Canada, Japan, England, Ireland, Spain, Italy, France (excluding mobile), we are a non-smoking facility. We also provide tour information, wake up service, security boxes, laundry service, roof top terrace, and baby sitting upon request.

Some of our other in-house services include, massages, Temazcal, Indigenous Spa, Day of the Dead Tours, La Olla Restaurant & Bar, room service and cooking classes.

Casa de las Bugambilias B&B is home to the popular restaurant "La Olla" (the cooking pot) providing innovative Oaxacan cuisine in a casual atmosphere. Chef and owner Pilar Cabrera bases her approach to food in an earth-friendly philosophy, working with regional farmers.

Our spacious suite, The Girasoles Suite has two bedrooms with a sitting area and air-condition. Paintings by Jo Williamson, southwestern landscape, and Jeronimo Avevalo.

Arturo Sosa's masterpiece "El Corazon" (tin work) is the focal point in this eclectic room. Sliding glass doors open up to a small balcony overlooking the back patio.
