Bed and Breakfast Description

Stafford Creek Lodge can accommodate up to 8 anglers at one time. The cottages are very spacious & will comfortably sleep two guests per cottage. The rooms are appointed with hand-made Andros pine furnishings, 2 queen size beds, a private bathroom, air conditioning & ceiling fans, a mini refrigerator stocked with sodas, lemonade and water & a coffee maker for convenience.

Each cottage has a private deck overlooking the magnificent view of Stafford Creek. In the early mornings watch the dolphins swimming up the creek to feed. Relaxing evenings might include fishing from the lodge's private dock, sharing stories under the cabana, or simply sitting back in the beautifully torch lit setting of the lodge grounds.

The lodge serves a hearty breakfast early each morning to get the day started right. Lunch on the boat includes sandwiches, fresh fruits, fresh lemonade, home made bread, and anything else guests may request, from lobster salad to ice tea, beers, Gatorade, or fresh home baked cookies all await you on the flats.

The lodge's exceptional chef prepares fresh conch fritters to welcome anglers back from the days fishing, and the finest seafood dishes, caught fresh from local waters are served at dinner. There is not a bar at the lodge and alcoholic beverages are not sold here except for the Bahamian Kalik Beer. Guests who want more of a selection of beverages may bring it along or purchase it from the local liquor store.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Discover a world of Bonefish, Tarpon, and Permit fishing. Explore a vast wilderness from the northern Joulters Cays to the numerous creek systems, inland lakes, & the west coast of Andros. Fish right off the dock in front of the lodge. Stafford Creek Lodge offers personal attention & a staff dedicated to providing a world class experience for their guests.

Fly fishing on Andros is world renowned and there is no better place to experience the excitement of flats fishing than at Stafford Creek Lodge. Prescott Smith along with three other experienced guides put guests on the right flats at the right tide, giving you the best opportunity to sight and catch fish.

For the non-angler there are nature walks, birding, or a visit to a blue hole. Stroll on the white sand beaches, go snorkeling & diving, or take a taxi tour of historic sites & artisan workshops on the island.
