Naz Wooden House Inn, a 130 years-old unique house that was recently restored. An important detail distinguish the remnants of the historic building preserved in the interior walls of NAZ, as are some of the original Byzantine arches and columns. This makes the NAZ Wooden House Inn unique.
NAZ Wooden House Inn today serves as a model for traditional and gracious accommodation. It is a non-smoking hotel and has 7 cave-like rooms with bathroom and shower, and other modern facilities such as A/C, central heating, cable TV, minibar and hair-dryer. You can use the wireless Internet in the entire hotel for free. The interior of the rooms reflects the exotic beauty of Byzantine and classic Ottoman Empire decoration.
All the rooms are decorated with rustic wooden furniture and Turkish handcrafts which are the samples of neo-classic Ottoman art. The terrace of NAZ has a tremendous view of the Sea of Marmara and the Princes Islands on one side and a spectacular view of the Blue Mosque on the other.
Naz also has an ancient hall of which the walls are the remains of Byzantine house. The breakfast is served in the ancient hall during the cold winter days and prefered by the guests for listening to traditional Turkish music.
You can book your airport transportation to/from the hotel as well. The cost is 20 eur for Ataturk airport and 40 eur for Sabiha Gokcen airport.

Naz Wooden House Inn is a small charming hotel located in Sultanahmet district of Istanbul. It is not close to the commercial site of Sultanahmet; but in the residential part of it, the Ahırkapı district, where the daily life still goes on without much effected from the growing tourism activities in the area.
Ahırkapı district is also known as the residence of Turkish gypsies that makes it more colorful and rich as a survivor of a glorious cultural heritage. The area is under protection now because of the historical wooden houses slightly remaining in the city.
The location of Naz provides her guests visiting the old town by themselves. It is at a walking distance to the most important Byzantine and Ottoman monuments of Istanbul, such as Blue Mosque (100mt), St. Sophia 150mt), Topkapi Palace (200mt), Hippodrome (150mt), Basilica Cistern {200mt) and Grand Bazaar (500mt).

Cave Style-Byzantine Room is renovated from the 3rd. floor of the ancient Byzantine House which Naz is built upon. The walls of the room are brick-made stones with the smell of centuries.
Green Room with the Terrace is at the second floor of Naz. The room is quite specious with 1 double and 1 single bed opening to a large terrace with tulips and grapes.
