B&B Casavaliversi is not only 3 km from the Florence Airport but it is also only 1 km from the main turnpike, the "Autostrada del Sole". Area Attractions and Activities: B&B Casavaliversi is surrounded by olive groves and haphazard cultivated fields typical of the Tuscan countryside. Located in the foothills of Monte Morello a protected National Territorial Park (947M), is ideal for leisurely walks or more ambitious hiking. The terrain from the foothills elevates into wooded areas of oaks and cypress trees where animals such as squirrels, deer, wild boars, and several species of multi-colored, chirping birds make their homes. The CAI or Italian Alpine Club, has designated several numbered hiking trails of various times and degrees of difficulty for trekking of mountain biking. Along these paths you can find shelters and small botteghe for light meals, refreshments, and of course incredible views. For lovers of archeology, Sesto Fiorentino boasts two important Etruscan toombs: La Mula and la Montagnola dating back to the 7th Century B.C.
