Within walking distance from the hotel is the famous Leidesplein area with its numerous bars, restaurants, bistros, grand cafes, shops and theaters. Europe's largest casino can also be found here in Leidseplein. The location of the hotel with Dam Square in the close quarters allows the guests to visit the major tourist spots of the city like Madame Tussauds, Koninklijk Paleis or the Royal Palace, Nieuwe Kerk or the New Church. The inmates can enjoy their jogging or can just relax in the picturesque garden of Vondelpark, which is within walking distance from the hotel.
