Bed, Breakfast and Dinner... if you wish, featuring menus by the author of the recently published cook book GOURMET MY WAY, by Ruth Hyba, owner of La Mansion del Bosque, and your host.

Dinner is available and there is a different menu every night. Meals are carefully planned and designed to give you a variety of nutritious food that is attractive to the eye and pleasing to the palate. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and safe salads!

Across from the dining room, there is an interesting collection of books for your selection, or make up a foursome for bridge in front of the crackling fire. We have a well stocked bar and drinks are served in our patio or lounge.

To get to La Mansion del Bosque from Mexico City, there are frequent luxury buses leaving from Central Del Norte bus station. 1st class buses have movies, bathroom, air conditioning, box lunch. 3 1/2 hours ride to San Miguel. If you arrive at the Leon Airport, it is only 1 1/2 hours away. I will send an English speaking driver who will answer your questions en route.

Room 1 is secluded behind a screen of tropical foliage is a lovely, spacious main floor room w/desk, sitting area w/marble topped cocktail table, warm earth tones of carpet repeated in the hand-loomed bedspread tiled bath, twin basins, 2 showers, and tub.

The Top O' the Spiral is a special spacious third floor room with a magnificent View - worth the climb. Features a private terrace, west and south facing windows, corner fireplace, gas heater, bath with a view through west windows, tub and shower.
