Bed and Breakfast Description

The center piece of the garden is a large swimming pool. The private pool at Hotel La Rosa is one of the most inviting in all of Costa Rica! Spotlessly clean, intimate, surrounded by lush palm trees and meticulously cared for, it is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Lit at night, it can even be enjoyed under the stars!

Cabinas are arranged around the edge of the property in groups of two and three all looking in towards the garden. All cabinas have private bathrooms and private entrances.

Our Alajuela hotel is a gem for the naturalist. The gardens contain scores of native trees and flowers and an abundance of birds of numerous species. If you are a bird lover, you can log a dozen unique species before breakfast.

Our day spa offers a variety of spa treatments at very competitive prices. Our central location also allows our guests easy access to many Central Valley sites including Volcan Poas, La Paz Waterfall Gardens, the Butterfly Gardens, ZooAve (the Zoo) and the Doka and Cafe Britt Coffee Tours.

White water rafting on the Paquare River, zip lining, Sarchi and even Tortuguero and Arenal are all possible as day trips from our Hotel. Of course if you are departing the following day, our hotel makes a great place to rest prior to leaving via the San Jose Airport.
