Owner, Gloria Whiting, has maintained and improved without sacrificing authenticity, one of Vallarta's landmark buildings.

A quaint 15 room colonial inn consisting of five suites that accommodate four people and ten double rooms with private bath accommodating two people. The rooms are charming with hand painted decor and native paintings.

The Hotel also features a small but deep and refreshing pool, an excellent restaurant Chez Elena and El Nido, the rooftop bar that overlooks the entire bay.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Anyone coming to Vallarta has two options. One, exploring for adventure of some kind. Two, simply to lay back, relax, read a book, sleep, or just daydream while overlooking the bay of Banderas.

Fishing is plentiful and depending on the time of year Yellowtail, Dorado, and often Sailfish, are the sport. Enjoy a hike and discover paths that most tourist guides try to avoid.

Horseback riding is option where normally time has not permitted this pleasant experience. Ride though jungle and rivers, have lunch at small haciendas or taquitos.

Another option - Para Sailing. Fly high over the bay then descend on the beach of your choice. Swim with the dolphins. Visit the set of Preditor near Mismaloya just south of town. Take day cruises to Yelapa, or visit Las Careyes, former home of John Huston, and a wonderful evening light show.

Snorkeling or birdwatching are other options too. No matter what your interest is, you are sure to find it here and were a more than happy to assist you.
