Mesogheo is a centuries-old farmhouse renovated from the original plan but now has a welcoming restaurant on the ground floor. A few paces away are the swimming pools and three small buildings with ten lovely rooms each with a fireplace.

The Mesogheo offers an environment designed to provide the utmost privacy to all guests. All of this hidden in an olive grove, centuries old at the foot of Camposauro Mountain, which along with the Taburno dominates the Volturno Valley. The closest little town is Melizzano, which is on the eastern border of the province of Benevento.

Surround yourself in the peace and quiet of this splendid natural setting. There is a simple beauty to this area that is full of antique farming centers. Mesogheo can be your base camp for day trips to all the region's famous places. In the evening return to a pleasant and welcoming 'home away from home'.

The philosophy of the hospitality found at Mesogheo is inspired by an idea of familiarity. Nothing is imposed, not meals, not conversation or anything else; you will be able to ask and obtain everything. The restaurant will offer you creative cooking which, although starts with local products, doesn’t pretend to be typical in a philological sense, but reflects the open personality of the owners.

The atmosphere is ideal for making friends and pass the time serenely with others; but it is also conducive to a desire to remain alone in peace and quiet. In any case, at Mesogheo we are at your command to give you all the information you need on what is happening and what there is to see in the area. Nearby there are wonderful opportunities for trekking around the Nature Reserve in the Taburno and Camposauro mountains.
