Bed and Breakfast Description

Situated 770 ft above sea level, cooled by natural sea breezes, thirteen one bed rooms, with private bath & balcony. Six upstairs premium, a self-contained cottage, three ground floor garden rooms air-conditioned, two bed for families and 3 bed villa with private pool higher up the mountain.

Furnished in rattan or local wood, ceiling fans, luxury pillow top king beds, mosquito nets, fridge, kettle and toaster. Complimentary beach towels. Daily room service.

La Haut Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Specializes in using fresh local produce and natural seasonings. A must place to visit whether guest or visitor. Specials are fish cakes, spinach crepes, Dorado or breaded delicate flying fish, coconut chicken, pumpkin chips. Like spice, try jerk pork or curry goat! All home made dressings and sauces. Cocoa tea for breakfast. Sip a rum punch sprinkled with fresh nutmeg while enjoying the views.

Wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, group functions, family functions, price and selection to suit your taste. La Haut makes your special events unforgettable combining stunning ambiance, with tasteful decor, friendly service and good food. Music like steel pan bands, or a solo artist can be arranged for your special occasion.

A nature lover's paradise! Nearby is a bounty of intriguing natural wonders to be explored like the rain forest, or for the fit, climb the Gros Piton, the adventurous, the Petit Piton. Try the mineral baths with therapeutic waters, or many water falls, some hot, or hiking trails.

Experience the best snorkeling and scuba diving on the island in the Soufriere area, bird watch, dolphin/whale watch, sail or fish. Take early morning walks to town or up the mountain to Livity Art Studio. Enjoy a plantation tour, cocoa tea demonstration, cashew roast, or simply sit back with a book from the library and soak up the views.

Soufriere is like a step back in time, enjoy the history of the town and its unique culture. Visit the Roman Catholic Church, Soufriere Estate, botanical gardens and Diamond Falls, Theresa's bakery by the river and the many quaint local shops and abundance of rum shops.

Most Popular Rooms:

Room 1 offers spacious airiness with windows on three sides. Balcony is by a trellis of delicate lavender flowers of Thumbergia Grandiflora, visited by Hummingbirds and Bananaquits. Plants, pictures, wicker basket and straw mats bring warmth and comfort.

Lie in bed with balcony doors wide open and you have a few of the Pitons. Room 3 offers this "Fabulous to wake up to!" environment.
