Villa Romantica is situated a short two minute walk to the city walls & a five minute walk from the center of Lucca. We offer six guest rooms, with all the modern comforts.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Villa Romantica was constructed at the end of the 1800’s in the Liberty style. Our bed and breakfast is situated adjacent the city walls and 5 minutes walk to the center of Lucca, one of Italy’s finest medieval treasures. The Favilla family manages Villa Romantica where guests are made to feel at home at all times.

The Villa also has a breakfast room and a bar. Our breakfast is served in a warm room complete with a glassed veranda overlooking the garden. The self-service buffet offers guests a generous and varied continental breakfast with home made cakes every morning.

There is a lovely garden with many mature trees. Villa Romantica's garden has a nice swimming pool (4 x 10 metres) with deck-chairs, mainly open from April to October (depending on the weather). Close to the swimming pool guests can relax and enjoy the whirlpool and sunning in the solarium.

Internet access and fax services are available on request. Bicycles are available to guests.

The town of Lucca is completely surrounded by ancient high walls, on top of which it is possible to walk or cycle around the perimeter of the town.
Lucca is situated in the heart of Tuscany amidst other important centers as Florence, Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra, all within easy reach for a day's excursion. Versilia and the Thermae spa of Montecatini and Bagni di Lucca are only twenty minutes away. Collodi and the park of Pinocchio are only ten minutes drive.
