Bet's B&B is a modern, two-level, fully self-contained artist-style studio with secure private entrance, just 2 miles (15 minutes by bus or light rail) from the center of Sydney.

Upstairs, the open-space living area includes a kitchenette, dining and lounge areas, a Queen-size bed and writing desk.

Downstairs, the bathroom/toilet is for the guests' exclusive use and includes a washing machine and a dryer.

Beautifully designed and furnished, this spacious hideaway with cedar fixtures, exposed brick and timber flooring is quiet, clean and comfortable. Fresh breakfast ingredients are provided each day. You can cook what you want, when you want.

There is a fully-equipped kitchenette and a modern bathroom with a washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities for your exclusive use.

For your comfort there is a Queen-size bed, a dining table for four, a lounge area with a sofa and arm chairs, a TV, coffee table and a writing desk. Reverse cycle air-conditioning ensures you're cool in summer and warm in winter.

With the convenience of a private entrance (separate from the house) you can come and go as you please.

Annandale Village, with its shops, restaurants and cafes, is an easy three-minute walk from Bet's B&B.

Annandale, a quiet residential suburb, was settled in the 1870s and boasts a wide range of buildings from colonial mansions to workers' cottages and refurbished warehouse apartments. Its wide tree-lined streets, diverse range of shops, and cosmopolitan character give Annandale its distinctive charm and friendliness.

There are restaurants whose cuisine ranges from Australian to French, Greek, Italian, Thai and Chinese, as well as street cafes where you can stop for a coffee and a snack. Nearby is Leichhardt, Sydney's Italian quarter, with its wide selection of restaurants and outdoor dining.

You can also catch a bus to the world famous Bondi Beach or if you take the local bus to Circular Quay you walk to the Opera House or catch a ferry to Toronga Park Zoo or Manly
