Bed and Breakfast Description

The property is situated just below the mountain village of Gaucin with spectacular views of Gibraltar and Africa to the front and the
backdrop of the village behind. It is in walking distance of Gaucin.

El Nobo offers spacious bedrooms w/private bath, tastefully decorated rooms in a blend of classic traditional European elegance with rare tropical wood furnishing, combining old w/new.

Guests can go for a leisurely or brisk morning walk, enjoying cool breezes and scenic neighborhoods. Sited on its own promontory, the lush tropical garden and forested hillsides ensure complete privacy.

The house is built around a three-sided courtyard with Moorish fountain. There is a magnificent drawing room with huge sliding doors and three outside, partly covered terraces for outdoor dining and sunbathing.

The generously proportioned bedrooms have ceiling fans. The house is excellently equipped and furnished, also comprising a full range of terrace, pool and garden furniture. There is under floor heating.

Ground Floor: Entrance Hall, Cloakroom, Utility room with 2 washing machines & dryer. Spacious, modern, professionally equipped kitchen (food & drinks fridges) leading into the beamed dining room. Also, high ceiling Drawing room opening to partly covered large sitting & dining terrace with sink, chimney/ barbecue.

The sumptuous Jacuzzi is a unique feature and a wonderful place to relax.

105 m2 Infinity swimming pool, Jacuzzi, tennis court with all weather American surface, donkey riding for the children on the farm. Horse riding nearby. Golf ~30 mins.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Gaucin is situated between the Mediterranean (about 30mins)and Atlantic coasts(just over the hour), the latter having vast golden sand beaches hardly populated except in July and August.

The Costa del Sol is now known world-wide as the Costa del Golf with some 27 courses between Gibraltar and East Malaga.

For those who love walking the countryside is a paradise. In Spring through until May there is a profusion of wild flowers and even on a long walk the most you are likely to come across is a herd of goats snd sheep.

Eating out has more and more variety. There are now a quantity of both Spanish and foreign run restaurants serving both local and international food at extremely reasonable price. Imagine a three course meal meal with half a bottle of wine for Euro 7.50

Gaucin is within easy driving distance of the famous historic cities of Ronda, Granada (site of the Alhambra) and Cordoba. There is even a charming local train service which will transport you there.

The first floor hosts a double bedroom w/bathroom and large secluded terrace. The twin bedroom's bathroom is equipped with high-powered shower, and has a huge sun terrace w/hammock & seating area.
