Bed and Breakfast Description

A lovingly renovated structure that has kept the best to give birth to a magnificent house. The heart is the interior patio. The decor of the main house is carried through to all the rooms and suites, which mixes classical Portuguese furniture with the rustic.

Agua d'Alte rests at the foot of the Serra d'Ossa and its name comes from the great amount of water that falls in the winter season. The area is one of the most ecologically protected regions of Portugal, and offers nature at its best.

In the main house there is a lovely living room, a porch with tables and barbecue and a dining room where breakfast is served. For an extra fee you can also have breakfast served in your room.

The swimming pool is quite large, and you'll truly enjoy it during hot summer days. Pool towels are at your disposal, and the shade of the porch will be appreciated when the sun is too warm.

Your pets are welcome with us and are allowed in the rooms so long as the owners take full responsibility.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Redondo and Reguengos are famous for their fine quality wine and a visit to "adegas" can often be arranged.

Also a chance to try out at pottery or weaver's loom can at times be arranged.

At Redondo there is a wine museum. In the north there is the Vila Vicosa Palace, antique shops and on Saturdays in Estremoz there is a local fair, with many unusual things for sale.

Most Popular Rooms:

For those who are traveling as a group, or who prefer more privacy there is the Pequena Casa (T2). This countryside house is near the main house but has 2 bedrooms, one with two single beds and the other with a double bed and a living room with fireplace.

There is also Casa das Malhadas, a small and rustic, but very comfortable T1, that is the perfect place for your vacations. Fully equipped for your needs and very peaceful within a spectacular landscape.
