Area Attractions and Activities:

The province West-Flanders has plenty of treasures. If you have a little extra time during your visit in Bruges, we can recommend the following day trips.

People who like cycling can enjoy the green area around Bruges. A good guide is the brochure ‘5 x around Bruges by bike’, which you can get at the In & Uit, the local tourist information. Passing lovely villages as Dudzele, Damme, Oostkerke and Lissewege.

Guests who wish to relax during a boat trip have 3 possibilities: from Bruges to Damme, from Bruges to Beernem, or from Bruges to Ostend.

On a beautiful day you could enjoy a day at the Flemish coast. A fun day at the beach in Knokke-Heist, in the family environment of De Haan or in the picturesque village of De Panne.

To people who love fauna and flora we can recommend a visit to the Sealife Center and the Serpentariumin Blankenberge or the Zwin and its Butterfly-garden in Knokke-Heist. Children will enjoy a Seafront Center visit or the Beachlabyrinth in Zeebrugge.
