Here at Quinta Zoe, we want to make your stay both comfortable as well as memorable. For your enjoyment, our guest rooms line the main patio with fountain, hand-painted tile murals, plants and comfortable seating. And for your safety, there are e-safes in each room as well as private, secured entrances.
With 2' thick walls, Quinta Zoe supplies an oasis of comfort in the heart of the city. Each room is about 16 x 15 with a large openable window and private bath w shower. Or sleep under a brick dome in our only second floor accommodation, the romantic Domo Suite, w queen-size hand-made canopy bed, priv bath, kitchenette and priv dining patio w church view.
All our rooms have priv baths and king size beds (The Girasol is convertable to 2 or 3 twins) Each room is beautifully decorated in a Mexican flower theme; Amapola (poppy), Tulipan and Girasol (sunflower). In keeping with the decor, every bathroom has a hand-painted floral mural with matching sink made especially for us in nearby historic Dolores Hidalgo.
Common areas include two courtyards with 8' high stone fountains, roof terrace with expansive sky and churchtop views and dining/conference/game room.
Breakfast is served in the Three-arches dining room overlooking the back courtyard. Homemade granola with yogurt and homemade fruit sauces is served with unlimited Mexican coffee and juice along with eggs how-you-like-them and toast. Also enjoy our varied offerings of quesadillas, muffins, flan, coffeecake, or scones.

Area Attractions and Activities:
Queretaro is an architectural and historical delight nearly 500 years old. Built by the Spanish as the gateway to the "Silver Cities", it offers 5 or 6 days walking through cantera stone streets flanked by beautiful old colonial buildings, a host of interesting churches and museums.
Relax in tree-lined plazas, each with fountain surrounded by restaurants and shops. 1/2 block to the south of Quinta Zoe is the Conservatory of Music and the Alameda Park built in the 1860s with crisscrossing walkways through several city blocks of trees and greenery.
See Mexico using Queretaro as your base. All buses route through Queretaro. Tours and day trips are offered to nearby Tequiquiapan, a charming village known for basketry)and Bernal where you can climb the third largest rock in the world. Take a taxi or bus 1 hr to San Miguel known for fabulous architecture and shopping. Charming Guanajuato is a 2 1/2 bus ride. Or visit Olmec ruins 2 hours away. Spend a day in Mexico City 3 hours away.

The Amapola Room is our most spacious room, double-door private secured entrance, private bath w/hand-painted poppy mural and matching poppy sink, king size bed with iron headboard and large colonial window facing a beautiful flower shop across the street
Filled with sunlight, the Girasol Room views the cantera stone fountain through pot of thyme on the windowsill. The wood headboard is carved with sunflowers matching the carved dresser and mirror. Perched above are colorful hand-crafted Talavera jars.
