Palazzo Guardi is a beautifully restored 15th century Venetian palace situated in the central area of Venice at San Trovaso near St. Marks Square and Rialto. Palazzo Guardi is divided into 2 structures offering our Guests maximum convenience.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Palazzo Guardi is in two different structures. One building has a magnificent central hall and breathtaking views of the canal and Squero di San Trovaso where the Venetian gondolas are constructed.

The second building is the breakfast hall, which features the original 15th century wooden beams and decorations. This area is also suitable for conferences. Al fresco dining in the summer is served in the private courtyard. The buffet breakfast can be enjoyed in the elegant breakfast area, or delivered to the comfort of your room.

Area Attractions and Activities:

A Venice Gondola Serenade tour is a must.

The glassblowers on the island of Murano. Piazza San Marco with its outdoor cafe tables. St. Mark's square, the Venetian Lagoon is rich in wildlife with the fishing port of Chioggia at the southern tip of the lagoon.

Structures worth a visit are the Bridge of Sighs, Campanile di San Marco, Dogana di Mare, and the Rialto Bridge.

The churches of Madonna dell'Orto and Santa Maria della Salute are both magnificent.

A 1,000 year old convent has become a hands-on technology museum wth interactive exhibits, The Telecom Italia Future Center.

Then there is the oldest ghetto in Europe with five synagogues, a Jewish Museum and a kosher restaurant.
