La Casa Encantada has an on-going arrangement with a wonderful restaurant, Mistongos, located across the street that will help plan special individual and group events for guests of La Casa Encantada.

La Casa Encantada recommends a local reliable chauffeur service that charges fixed reasonable rates for various Mexican destinations i.e. airport/bus stations/cities. Chauffeur reservations are made free of charge at the request of arriving/departing guests. All arrangements made on behalf of guests at La Casa Encantada are free we merely ask you pay your service providers directly.

For our guest's convenience from 8am - 4pm, 7 days a week there is a bilingual office staff.

Patzcuaro is the jewel of the colonial cities. It is small and friendly. La Casa Encantada is located in the heart of Patzcuaro, just one-half block away from the main plaza (Plaza Grande) or Plaza Don Vasco de Quiroga.

Founded long before the Spanish conquest by the Purhepecha Indians, Patzcuaro was established as the religious center where the temples were constructed, for that reason its name means in the Purhepecha language "doorway to heaven".

Locally we have historical sites of significance as well as an abundance of colorful folk art with each of the surrounding villages specializing in their own unique Art Form.

Grand Sala Suite - The most elegant guest suite comprised of two rooms featuring a large kitchen, living room with fireplace and king size bed, and separate Master bedroom with fireplace, king size bed and four piece bath.

Mermaid Room - This lovely guest room has a king size bed with a folk art hand-carved mermaid headboard, a full bath and a small private balcony overlooking the second garden patio and is priced at $90 U.S.
