Casa Las Piedras is a modern hacienda-style villa with open, unobstructed views of the ocean. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and tropical fruit trees.

Attached to the living area is an Infinity pool with unparalleled views of the Pacific Ocean. Handcrafted designs balanced with modern touches create a soothing ambiance for your vacation in tropical Troncones, Mexico.

Casa Las Piedras is designed in a Mexican style with handcrafted décor including intricate stonework and Mexican tile floors with inlaid pebbles.

The house is designed to provide comfort in each room and throughout, with tall vaulted ceilings, cooling fans, and natural ocean breezes. All the rooms downstairs are fronted by a walkway facing the ocean. Upstairs is a separate suite with sweeping ocean views.

The focal point of the living room are two tree trunks that support the tall, vaulted ceiling. A fully equipped kitchen is just off the main living and dining area.

The massive parota wood dining table can accommodate up to 12 persons. The living and dining areas front the pool, garden and beach.

Upon your arrival Anai and Jorge, our housekeepers, will greet you with a drink and fresh guacamole and chips. The main activity at Casa Las Piedras is relaxation.

Relax in a hammock or around the pool, take a walk along the beach or enjoy a massage from our on-site massage therapist. Sleep to the sound of the surf. Awake to a sumptuous daily breakfast. Practice yoga under our outdoor pergola.

Area Attractions and Activities:

We are located on Playa Troncones: a 5-mile long sandy beach interspersed with rock formations and tide pools. The beach is a popular spot for surfing as well as horseback riding, swimming, and birdwatching. Manzanillo Bay is within easy walking distance. Anai and Jorge can arrange surfing instructions as well as board rentals.

Other activities include Mountain biking, Deep-sea fishing and boat charters, Whale watching (in season).

Many good restaurants are available in and around Troncones. Our innkeepers will be happy to recommend restaurants ranging from simple Mexican fare to fine American and Italian cuisine.

The nearby towns of Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa offer a contrast to the timeless beach of Troncones. Ixtapa is a modern resort community with 2 beautiful 18-hole golf courses and hard-surface tennis courts.

Zihuatanejo has an "Old Mexico" charm with a popular waterfront and a bustling mercado. This is where the local fishermen bring in their catch each day.

A circular staircase leads upstairs to the Tango Suite, a private suite w/sitting area, bar, refrigerator, and entertainment center. Enjoy sweeping views of the ocean throughout. The bathroom w/discreetly open-air shower surrounded by tropical plants.

This spacious room has a high, wood-beamed ceiling and is decorated w/Diego Rivera reproductions. Its king-size bed and furniture are carved in calla lily motifs. A round, outdoor, palapa-thatched bathroom has a magnificent wooden shower facing the ocean.
