Bed and Breakfast Description

Our small rural hotel/Andalucia Guesthouse gives you the best of both worlds. We offer all the personal touches and service of a small independent rural hotel, with accommodation including spacious lounges, terraces and garden areas, you get all the independence and privacy of a large hotel.

Fuegoblanco guesthouse is just 40 minutes from Malaga airport but is a world apart from the costa del sol. Here, surrounded by our lemon and orange groves, you experience inland Andalucia, a part of Spain that was not invented for just tourists.

We provide Bed and Breakfast with organic oranges freshly squeezed from the tree (when in season). We specialise in healthy fish and vegetarian cuisine. Full evening meals and lunches are mostly served on the terraces or in the gardens as required. The Guadalhorce valley is a rich fertile area alive with birds, fish, terrapins and other wildlife. We do our best to care for the beautiful place we live. Where possible we use ecological soaps and cleaning products. recycling, solar power, and eco friendly techniques to manage our eight acres of orchards and river bank. We are certified by the Spanish equivalent of the Soil Association, C.A.A.E (Comite Andaluz de Agricultura Ecologica).

We provide fish and vegetarian evening meals for €22.50 euros for three courses including ,wine or beer soft drink, or €18 euros excluding a starter. Each day there will be a choice of a fish or vegetarian main course, and a choice of starters.

There is plenty to do in this part of Malaga Province; from the bustling tapas bars of Alora to personal pampering at Carratraca Spa.

For those wishing to explore Andalusia, Fuego Blanco is the perfect center for touring. The major attractions of Granada, Seville, Cordoba are within easy reach by car.

Even closer are lots of interesting villages and towns including the historic city of Malaga, where, as part of the program to become chosen European city of culture, there is a program of Art in the Street. This began on December '07 with seven bronzes by Rodin in the calle Larios. The world famous "thinker" included amongst the sculptures. Since then the sculptures have been suceeded by a series of lesser known, but no less facinating, works of art.

Catch the train from Alora and spend the day exploring the Plaza de la Merced, the Alcazaba, the Roman Theater, Malaga´s narrow winding streets, Arab Baths, old Sherry Bars, Tapas Bars, vegetarian and other restaurants.
