Bed and Breakfast Description

La Quinta Troppo features 8 rooms and in addition a two bedroom and a three bedroom penthouse across the street at La Casa Que Ve Al Mar. Each room is individually styled with furnishings and collected artifacts celebrating the vitality of Mexico's artisans and their culture.

Each room has its own special feel - from sumptuous space of 'La Ropa' with its sweeping view of the Bay to the privacy of El Jardin de Frida, with its secluded walled garden.

All have elegant private baths, king beds, a terrace, a sitting area inside, or both.

Six of the rooms have views of the Bay of Zihuatanejo. Of these, the views from our premium ocean view rooms is spectacular.

The Penthouse (across the street at La Cassa Que Ve al Mar) has three bedrooms. Two have queen beds and the third has a single, each with en suites, and luxuriously decorated.

If you don't feel like the beach, laze around our pool and enjoy a late lunch and a glass of wine from our well stocked bar.

Our pool area is a place to savor the moment... as well as to swim.

The casual charm of Zihuatanejo makes it a wonderful place to get married. Between April 15 and November 15, the staff will provide complimentary wedding planning and concierge service for Brides that book all the rooms for at least four nights. We attend to everything, including all those things need to make your day wonderful without you having to worry about the fine detail.

Most Popular Rooms:

La Ropa, is our most rebooked room. Some people describe it as the "Honeymoon suite". It is a large room that is open under a palapa. The bed is surrounded by a romantic pavilion fo net. Please see the photo of this room on our wen page

El Jardin de Frida is a room that has its own private garden, as well as a hammock and sitting areas. The decor is contemporary Mexican. It is a frequently rebooked room. Please see the photos on the web page.
