 B&B Maggiore is the first floor of a building dating back to the 1800s. Just opposite the B&B is the impressive Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. An ideal choice for anyone desiring a clean and comfortable environment. Special care has been made to ensure guests are in a cozy environment, with the choice of flowers and in the quality of the bedding and textiles, as well as the many other details. Continental breakfast is included. All this makes B&B Maggiore remarkable, with service usually found in a larger, more expensive establishment. The B&B has a total of 7 rooms, all with private bathrooms, and are well-equipped. Air conditioning is available on request, well-positioned lighting diffuses a warm and welcoming light throughout the B&B Maggiore. Convenience at B&B Maggiore is key, from the breakfast room that is great for families, to the location that is superior for touring Rome. The B&B has a lift/elevator and cots/cribs are available, as well as ironing facilities. Small pets are welcome but please note when making the reservation. Getting around Rome is also made easy, as the city's main train station (Termini) and transport hub is conveniently just a stone's throw away. Area Attractions and Activities: B&B Maggiore is located in the heart of Rome and is well connected to the city's major tourist sights, all of which may be reached either on foot or by metro. Just a short walk away is one of Rome's most famous landmarks, the Colosseum, as well as the sprawling ruins of the Roman Forum. The area is locally known as Rione Monti and is characterized by its small, winding lanes and typical medieval squares. In the neighborhood an excellent selection of bars, restaurants and cafés is there to choose from, as well as shops and supermarkets. The owners of the B&B (Riccardo and Giuliano) are always happy to provide guests with any information, such as what sights to visit, where to eat and how best to get around the city.
