Built amidst the lovely sub-tropical gardens of this historic neighborhood, Ascot Parnell offers secure and tranquil luxury accommodation.

All rooms have balconies and are designed to capture all day sun, with every window framing another spectacular view of Auckland’s beautiful harbour, and city skyline.

Guest-suites are bright & airy, tastefully furnished and have comfortable Queen or Super-King beds with fine quality linen. Each room has a luxury bathroom, with shower and/or full bath-tub, underfloor heating, hair-drier, TV, climate control, internet connection and dedicated phone and fax line.

There is a library with travel books, a paperback exchange and New Zealand & international magazines and newspaper. A desk with Mac-PC offers free Wireless Internet Access. On cool nights you can cuddle up around the open fire-place with a hot drink or a glass of New Zealand wine.

Breakfast is a sumptuous affair with such choices as fresh organic fruit, yoghurt, Belgian pancakes, French toast, crepes, or gourmet omelettes and is served in the morning room or alfresco on the balcony with breathtaking harbour views. Complimentary fresh coffee, teas and cookies are available throughout the day.

The Airport Shuttle-bus stops at the door. When staying with us, you do not need to rent a car to visit our wonderful city, as everything is in walking distance, but if you come by car there is plenty of free secure underground parking.

Visit the harbor, Rose and Winter gardens, Mt.Eden, the daily Maori show at the Auckland Museum, the Maritime Museum, Skycity, summer outdoor concerts in the park, the America's cup village. Take a ferry trip to Waiheke and Rangitoto Islands, Devonport.

It is an easy drive to The Waitakere Ranges regional Park, Piha and Karekare beaches, the Henderson and Kumeu wine valleys with excellent lunch and dining opportunities. Ask your hosts about nearby golf courses, kayaking, garden visits, guided walks and many other activities nearby.

Garden-View Queen Room 1 - bright and airy room, Queen size bed, crisp cotton sheets, luxuriously appointed en-suite (private) marble and tiled bathroom with shower, underfloor heating, heated towel-rails, hair-drier and complimentary toiletries.

Harbour-View Super-King Suite 3 - This is a spacious suite (some guests commented "a mini-apartment") with Super-King bed, many luxuries. Walk-in ward-robe/dressing room, balcony, 180 degrees harbour and city views. Very quiet and private room.

We (your hosts Bart and Therese) will welcome you to our home, which will be your home when you're in Auckland. We look forward to have you as our guests. If you like; Therese or Bart will be glad to collect you from the Airport. Just ask when you make your reservation.
