Make Casa La Fe your home in Cartagena. This small boutique hotel was totally renovated by new owners and is situated in the heart of the old city with antiquities, restaurants and entertainment close by.

Guest rooms are located on three floors (note no elevator). We have two ground floor rooms opening directly onto the garden patio so they can lose privacy through the day due to guest traffic and are lower priced. On the second and third floors we have eight rooms which face inwards and open onto the same patio at a higher level. Finally we have four upper floor rooms with private balconies opening onto the Plaza. The balconies are of sufficient size to sit out and enjoy Cartagena's exhuberant street life. We exercise strict controls on access to the hotel to ensure a relaxed and intimate atmosphere.

Breakfasts are served in the patio area with a varied menu and local specialties. An Espresso coffee machine is in service throughout the day. The hotel has a rooftop terrace with shade, breeze and a small plunge pool (4m x 3m).

We print our own street maps showing ATMs, banks, airline offices, mailboxes and other stuff to help you navigate the essentials. We also include recommendations for restaurants, typical cuisine, light meals and bars.

Area Attractions and Activities:

We are located in the heart of the old walled city and face onto a pleasant leafy plaza which is busy with street vendors during the day and people sitting and relaxing in the evening.

The other three sides of the plaza have private dwellings or restaurants. The church of Santo Toribe stands at the corner of the plaza and is very popular for weddings, not only for its beauty but also because it is the only church in the city center with air conditioning!
