Bed and Breakfast Description

The Hotel Walkner opened in 1964 by Andreas Walkner, a prominent cheese manufacturer. At the beginning of 1990 the his oldest daughter, who now owns the hotel, together with her son started managing the hotel. After the ownership change the hotel was totally renovated.

Today our hotel is well-known for its unique and comfort. Leave day-to-day life behind you and enjoy your holidays - with everything that should be part of it.

The Hotel Walkner offers a sauna, a heated outdoor pool, a big terrace, a lawn with deck-chairs and sun-shades and fitness equipment for relaxing.

The good kitchen is the secret of the house. Always fresh, natural ingredients, traditional and international recipes and a cook who knows his job. However, the restaurant is not only known for it's culinary specialties, but also for the unique view over the whole lake-area of Trum.

Breakfast & meals with views of the lake, the sun terrace, cheese & butter from our own dairy. From the sauna, to the fitness room, to the children's playground, and to the heated swimming pool, we are All inclusive!

All rooms are fitted with SAT-TV, radio and telephone. We have a sauna, heated outdoor swimming pool, bicycles, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, welcome drinks and lots more surprises at the disposal of our guests. Extra beds in the rooms are possible on request.

All rooms have balconies, with a view of the lake and our beautiful mountains.

Category A rooms at the hotel are attractively furnished with a small seating area and balcony. The rose rooms are in the eaves and although they have no balcony, they are prettily decorated and have great charm with their sloping ceilings.
