Ricavo is where authentic Tuscan Charm and idyllic surroundings meet with today’s modern comfort in perfect harmony. Open from April 11th to November.

Ricavo’s historic origins date back in time to as far as 994. It’s nearly a millennium later that the hamlet transforms into a fine residence for travelers, beginning Ricavo’s long tradition of country hospitality. A wonderful setting with views of the villa's garden, or in good weather, sitting al fresco in the square under large umbrellas, the mouth watering selections will delight you.

Inside the hamlet the Ristorante La Pecora Nera (The Black Sheep) serves typical Tuscan cuisine as well as more refined dishes. Lighter Nouvelle Cuisine interpretations of traditional dishes will give diners many options. The proprietor directs this restaurant with the highest standards and quality resulting in an exceptional culinary experience. A meal naturally accompanied by a fine choice of varietal wines from the large cellar.
