Porcigliano is a private country house offering bed and breakfast accommodation a few kilometers from Florence and the Etruscan town of Fiesole in the beautiful Florence hills.

Bed and Breakfast Description

The Porcigliano property date back to the fourteenth century, the newer part of the house was built in the first years ’60 on the ruins of the medieval tower of Porcigliano.

In 1999 our family acquired the property and completely restored the house adopting methods and materials of Bio-building with the aim to recreate an healthy environment for a better quality of life.

Our Bed and Breakfast offers lodging in the comfort of a private home and where you will find a friendly atmosphere and a warm hospitality to give you a feeling of being home.

The large family kitchen has the typical Tuscany style with its cozy fireplace, in the country garden sweet smells of lavender, rose, rosemary, and many lovely corners for relaxing.

An iron spiral staircase leads to a comfortable living room on the upper floor, where you will also find delightful guest bedrooms.

On the first floor there are three spacious double rooms with bath and a beautiful view on the valley. Each one has its own style.

You may have breakfast in the garden during the warm season. Most of the products we usually serve for breakfast come from local organic farming.

At any time you arrive to Porcigliano you will find a nice cup of tea or coffee, a fresh drink or a glass of genuine Tuscany wine in a friendly, relaxing atmosphere
