As a yoga retreat and meditation center we focus on the practices and healing arts of Ashtanga Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation, Deep Tissue and Thai Yoga Massage, and Qigong.

Combining only the freshest of Mother Nature's natural ingredients, the chef's of Present Moment's kitchen intertwine the heart and soul of Spa Cuisine to create dishes that linger both on the palette and on the mind. Imagine a forkful of robust Ensalada Bacalao; a vibrant plate of tangy Swordfish Escabeche with addictive crunchy tostones, the sumptuous flavor of plantain-crusted Mahimahi with a sweet and savory tropical salsa... all cooked to order.

Troncones Beach is a small recently-developed community lying on some 3 miles of pristine Pacific beach, a strand of white sand punctuated by occasional rock outcroppings often harboring tide pools teeming with fascinating salt-water life. The little village is home to a small school, a public library donated by generous local residents for education of the village's children, a church, several dry goods outlets, and a few small provisioning services for essential items. All of these are couched within a traditional and tropical Mexican ambiance.

Troncones Beach Village is located at the juncture of the paved road which runs from Federal Highway 200 to the beach, and the rustic oceanfront lane that houses beachfront inns and rentals, restaurants, outdoor activities outlets, and private residences.

Troncones Beach is highly connected yet still a world apart. Its proximity to Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo affords you a full choice of shopping conveniences and recreational opportunity.

Authenticity was imperative in the construction of every inch of Present Moment. Thus, each bungalow has an indigenous palapa thatched roof, hand-crafted in the Mexican tradition, the bathrooms feature native ocean stone floors that massage the feet.
