The Balboa Inn is the ideal base from which to explore Panama the place to stay during stopovers in Panama City. We welcome families who will find our inn, its gardens and the surrounding neighborhood especially child-friendly and safe.

Recently renovated, the Balboa Inn has seven (7) rooms with private bathrooms. All rooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans, TV, DVD, room safes and ample natural light.

Area Attractions and Activities:

The walk up to the top of Ancon Hill is quite enjoyable and will reward you with beautiful views of the city's skyline and the Panama Canal.

Want to go jogging? Walk to the supermarket? Or the dry cleaner, pizza place, bank... In Balboa that's a pleasant experience. Quiet, safe streets, wide sidewalks, public transport around the corner.

On the left you see the Panama Canal Administration building, in itself worth a visit.

The huge Albrook mall just 5 minutes and a $ 2 taxi ride away. Next to Albrook Mall you also find the public bus terminal for all domestic bus services, and next to it is the airport that handles are domestic air travel. If you have an early flight to catch to San Blas or Bocas del Toro, staying at the Balboa Inn will assure you'll never miss a flight.

Even better, the Amador Causeway is just a 10-minute walk away.

From here you can see the ships entering the Panama Canal and have great view at the Panama skyline.
