Bed and Breakfast Description

Le Pave d'Hotes is located at the entrance of the village. An old 4 bedroom house with beautiful gardens, and a very sweet wake up with a generous breakfast.

We have an excellent wine cellar with over 350 wines, where the small producers mix with vintage wines, also with the best ciders, and calvados are proposed.

We also boast Le Pave d'Auge, a fine restaurant in the middle of this charming village, where the hall was transformed into a restaurant.

Local culinary traditions, fine product and creativity are respected in a blending of past and contemporary decoration.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Beuvron-en-Auge (most beautiful villages of Normandy) is west of Lisieux and 25 kilometres east of Caen, in the Calvados department of Normandy.

Beuvron-en-Auge has a beautiful central square, surrounded by some - perhaps 40 - very attractive houses constructed in colombage (half-timbered). Some of the houses also have very ornate decorative woodcarvings - including sculptures in wood.

Also take a look at the pretty little church and Chapelle de Clermont in the village.

In the vicinity of Beuvron-en-Auge there are also several magnificent manor houses in the same colombage style. Finest among them perhaps if the Old Manor (le Vieux Manoir) constructed in the 15th century.

The first week of May features the flower festival in the town - geraniums a speciality - and a very large cider festival is held at the end of October. Both events are great times to visit the town if possible.
