Secluded but at the center of Umbria, experience a close encounter with history and nature. Le Torri di Bagnara is made of Medieval Historic Residences, a luxury Abbey and a Tower residence, each lavishly furnished, in the center of a 1500 acre estate.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Sometimes referred to as ‘the green heart of Italy’, Umbria is a small, hilly and fairly untouched region between Tuscany and Marche.
Apartments and Abbey rooms are beautifully furnished in 19th century original antiques & feature a beautiful view over the valley and the woods.

The Abbey Relais consists of 7 luxury rooms: 3 double rooms, 2 junior suites that sleep two, and one junior suite that sleeps three.
There is a typical restaurant, bar service, meeting rooms, a church, parking areas, a botanic garden, and an organic kitchen garden.

All rooms feature en suite bathrooms - some with hydro-massage tub, A/C, heat, Sat-TV, phone, WiFi access, mini-bar, safe-box, modem port, and hair-driers.

The Tower Apartments consist of 4 rooms: One that sleeps two, two that sleep four, one that sleeps five with a separate single room and bath, common reading and dining room, laundry, panoramic terrace, 1,000 sqm terraced garden with barbecue area, and covered parking. The apartments feature a full kitchen with dishwasher, telephone, WiFi access, fireplace, Sat-TV, linens and hair-drier.

There is a large private panoramic sea salt water swimming pool situated in a location that provides sun all day and overlooks the valley. There is a water cascade and a broad wooden shelter. It is set in the midst of a large garden with many beautiful trees, bushes and flowers. The garden was designed so that it is continuously in flower from spring through fall.

Area Attractions and Activities:

A guided tour of the farm, viewing the livestock, berry picking, animal watching to name a view. Guests may go walking and biking on the various paths with stop-areas in the estate that go through the woods and along the small lakes and the medieval castles.

Cooking Classes, Olive Oil, Wines & Farm's Produce Tasting, Truffle Hunt are also available.

Perhaps Cultural tours of Umbria and its Museums are in order or maybe visiting Trasimeno Lake.

Most Popular Rooms:

The Jr. Suite Peony is on the first floor of the Abbey Relais. It features a 10 sqm bathroom with hydro-massage tub, a double bedroom with a semi-canopy bed, and a view over the valley and church.

At 81 sqm The Knight apartment is situated inside the tower, on the third and fourth levels. The living room has views of the Tiber Valley and surrounding woods from its five Romanesque windows. The upper bedroom has barrel vault ceilings with frescoes.

Reservation Notes:

Tower Apartments lease is only weekly from Saturday to Saturday. Rates include: taxes apartment final cleaning, water, electricity and gas for cooking consumption, covered parking, swim towels, use of the pool and gardens, use of mountain bikes, tour with a guide of the estate, one Italian newspaper. Heating on consumption to be paid extra. ON DEMAND: Breakfast € 10/person, Lunch & Dinner (in the Abbey Relais); additional cleanings (€ 20/h); additional change of linen (€ 8/16 per person); shopping service € 15/h) Abbey Relais Rooms: 2 nights minimum policy - 3 nights in July and from 22 Dec. to 8 Jan, and Easter, 7 nights in August.
