Impressive, like centuries ago, the old fortress glows on the horizon, silhouetted against the sky and surrounded by vineyards. On clear moonlight nights, one can imagine ancestral footsteps echoing on the cobblestones. The old courtyard fountain has many stories to tell, and the antique houses with their ancient beams, the castle, and the tower all seem to be derived right from legend.

"Hexenküche"-suite, which means "witch-kitchen", located in our new addition to the Rote Rose, the beautifully restored, historic, 800 year old "Engelfrid-house", especially preferred by couples looking for romance.

"Engelfrid-suite" named after the historic house,with its spectacular spacious two rooms, equipped with exquisite antiques and decorated with original watercolors by famous artist Lotte Günthart.

Accommodations at the Rote Rose only by previous reservations made by the guest Cancellation-policy: We have to charge 50% of the total price, unless we are notified at least 14 days in advance. Check-in-time: from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
