Our location in Costa Rica has been rated as having one of the world's best climates: not too hot, not too cold, sunny days, starry nights. We are central to the steamy rain forests, thundering volcanoes, whitewater rafting and two warm oceans.

You can drive yourself or go on organized tours. As a free service, our knowledgeable bilingual staff will shop around on your behalf with several of the most reputable tour companies and car rental agencies for the best prices and services, then make all the arrangements.

Some of our guests have been able to finance much or all of their vacation with the savings from Costa Rica plastic surgery, eye surgery and dental work. Clean, private hospitals are fully equipped with modern facilities, and manned by American and European trained doctors who use the latest techniques. They charge about a third of what you would normally pay for the same procedure in the US and Canada. Spend your first day or so having the work done, then recover a few days in seclusion and comfort at Adventure Inn, with room service and 24 hour staff. We will gladly refer you to a highly experienced and reputable English speaking medical doctor specializing in your field.

The area offers wonderful peaceful walks through the parks, around the duck ponds, along the golf courses, to many fine dining restaurants, and further, the large new Cariari Mall and Cineplex theater.

There are large, posh hotels nearby with casinos, and entertainment venues. Bustling San Jose, with its Central Market, promenade shopping street, museums, zoo, business district, and exciting nightlife zone is about ten minutes away by car, taxi or convenient public bus.

Most Popular Rooms:

All of our generously sized smoke-free rooms contain two orthopedic queen beds, a large tiled bathroom with either a hot water shower/bath, A/C, a large TV with seventy channels, WiFi, a safe ($1/day), phone, coffee maker, and writing table.

We have three smoke-free suites with all of the above but they are slightly bigger and face over the lovely Los Arcos neighborhood at the back of the hotel. They also have small refrigerators, a microwave and a Jacuzzi bath. Suites are $20 extra per day.

Reservation Notes:

* Rates do not include 16% tax * Children under 5 years old stay for free and children 5-12 are half price * To qualify for the 20% cash discount on daily rates, reservations must be booked directly between the guest and Adventure Inn (No intermediaries). * Weekly and monthly room rates must be paid by cash or US Dollar travelers cheques, and are not available between December 17 and January 8th * With any cancellation there is a redeemable $25 service charge per room. There is a one night penalty at the regular daily rate if your reservation is canceled in whole or in part with less than three days notice. * We have rooms reserved for owners with well-behaved pets with permission. Please $10 per night per pet due to sanitation costs.
