Tlaquepaque has kept a relaxing festive atmosphere. The Parian is now home to 16 cantinas and restaurants and is still the musical soul of the area. The famous mariachi music of Mexico is said to have originated here and the patrons of the Parian are still serenaded by strolling troops of mariachis that sell their songs to the diners and romantic couples. Weekend shows of traditional dance, music and song are presented throughout the year.
Casa de Las Flores is near many other points of interest that make our area a wonderful vacation destination, but just far enough to enjoy a typical neighborhood and an exciting view of Mexico's culture and people. Many of the traditional crafts that you will see in the center of town are exported throughout Mexico and the rest of the world.
Our neighbors, many of whom are local craftsman and artisans have given Tlaquepaque some of it's international fame as a center for classical craftsmanship and traditional arts.
