Hotel Virrey de Mendoza features 40 rooms, 14 suites and one Virreynal Suite all luxuriously decorated with priceless antiques, some with balconies overlooking the Main Square, the Cathedral or Madero Avenue, with kings size, queen size, double or single beds, tub shower, bathrobe and hair dryer in bathroom.
Our 55 rooms each have a phone, cable TV, wake up alarms, bottles of purified water and room service.
Del Virrey Restaurant offers International cuisine, with great views of the glorious Catedral de Morelia, a baroque cathedral, with its two large towers dominate the skyline of the city.
Enjoy a drink in one of the hotel’s two bars, the Lobby Bar, an ambience where good taste and elegance are combined, or the Piano Bar, to enjoy your favorite drink while listening to fabulous piano music.
We can also support banquet or business meeting needs, large groups or small, with a staff that will carefully organize any and all important events, in one of our three meeting rooms with capacities between 15 and 200 people.

The Morelia City Tour that takes approximately 3hrs and includes visits to the Acqueduct, the Church and Convent of Guadalupe, the Morelos Monument, Calzada Fran Antonio de San Miguel, Morelia's Cathedral, Colegio Jesuita, De las Rosas Conservatory, and the Church and former Convent of San Francisco.
An absolutely beautiful Tour of the many we provide is the Tour to the Monarch Butterfly Sancturaly, a 10hr tour that see the return of the Monarch to Michoacan in mid November. The sanctuary opens Nov 20.
