Bed and Breakfast Description

Originally built by Mr. Alfonso Cetina Espinosa, and privately inhabited by him and his relatives. Tolok-Nah means, in mayan words, tolok = iguana and nah = house, Iguana's House. If you have good luck, you can see this kind of reptile under the sun on the walls of the house.

Moreover, besides spending a well rest days, Tolok-Nah is ideal for those who come for business as well; after they´ve received the first meal of the day and go on with their formalities throughout the day, they can be certain of returning to a comfortable and relaxed place where they can have a well deserve rest, or inclusively, in order to make the final details of their labor affairs.

Tolok-Nah is located in the residential area named Montecristo, up north of Merida, which is one of the most exclusive zones of the city where its diverse house styles are a lively display of good taste in modern Yucatecan architecture.
Around this part of the city you´ll find many banks, department stores, ATM´s, hospitals, church and several enjoyable parks and streets where you can take a pleasant walk.

Merida´s downtown is as close as 15 minutes drive, that´s why our location is ideal to rest and enjoy the quietness and tranquility of the city while keeping yourself accessible to downtown Merida with all it´s attractions.

Each morning an automobile departs from Tolok-Nah toward city´s downtown so that you´ll be able to initiate your tourist trip from that point and by the afternoon the same automobile will bring you back to Tolok-Nah. Both services are included in the rate. If you prefer, we can make the necessary arrangements for you to rent a car, or park yours here.

The Chaac Bedroom is located on the ground floor; it is perfectly isolated of the rest of the bedrooms, living room and front house and features a king-size bed, a small hydro massage tub, spacious dressing room, and big windows.

The Kukulcan Room has two matrimonial beds, big spaces and tall ceiling. Its dressing room has a perfect distribution and its bathroom has many of natural light. This bedroom has an easy access to the reading room and to the terrace-bar.
