Windy Hill Resort is located in the foothills of the Maya Mountains, the most diverse area of Belize. This beautiful resort provides all the modern conveniences in a lush tropical setting, minutes from the archaeological sites, rivers, caves & much more.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Windy Hill Resort offers the finest in Belizean hospitality. Each cottage is decorated with exotic hardwoods, local art and hand-woven rugs. All the furnishings are custom-made by local craftsmen. The resort is situated on 100 acres of beautiful flowers, gardens, fruit trees, coconut palms and rain forest trails.

In the evening, join us in our dining room where we serve the finest home-cooked Belizean dishes, complete with delicious soups and desserts. After dinner, wander down to the Dory Lounge to try the bartender's newest creation. Play a game of pool or table tennis or just join the other guests in exchanging stories of the days adventures.

Bring along a camera, casual clothing and comfortable shoes. Bring along a friend or meet one here. We have a beautiful country to show you and we want your stay to be a comfortable and memorable one.

In 1975, Bob and Lourdes bought the property that is now Windy Hill Resort and named it Graceland Ranch. As tourism in Belize was just starting to grow, they saw a good future in this new industry and in 1987 opened Windy Hill Resort for business with three cottages. More were added as they could afford them. The resort now consists of 16 private cottages and 9 rooms, a dining room, a lounge, a recreation room, a fitness center, a gift shop, swimming pool, equestrian center, and a tour operation center.
