Part of UNESCO's World Heritage Site since 1996, and classified a National Monument, the Guest House Douro enjoys breathtaking vistas. All rooms offer direct views, either of the magnificent Douro river, the emblematic Dom Luis bridge and the numerous Port lodges that line the riverbank in Gaia or of the romantic Fonte Taurina, one of the oldest streets of Oporto first referenced in 1296. We are the first and only Bed and Breakfast on waterfront Oporto.

Behind Guest House Douro's centennial walls lies a totally renovated interior that guarantees the most in modern comfort and quality. We take to heart the health of our guests and our environment and choose our products and equipments accordingly.

The Guest House Douro offers eight rooms, individually decorated creating for each guest a unique memory. Our immaculate and elegant rooms possess large windows allowing the guests to fully enjoy the seductive views.

Most Popular Rooms:

All eight rooms are unique since each is different in decoration and personality. The most popular room is definetly the one with the balcony opening on the Douro River and all of Porto's wonderful waterfront view.

We love all our rooms. Difficult to choose, they are all our "children" and all a labour of love...My second room would probably be the pink and chocolate room. Such good and positive energy!
