Victoria Spa Lodge
Stratford-upon-Avon, England, U.K..
Set in the country overlooking Stratford Canal, all rooms have modern conveniences. An attractive and very comfortable home. Enjoy walks along tow-paths to Stratford and other villages. Nearby we have a Park & Ride for your convenience.
Bed and Breakfast Description

Paul and Dreen Tozer welcome you to Victoria Spa Lodge. An attractive Victorian 1837 building, originally built as a Spa, the hotel and pump rooms were later divided into three separate residences.
Queen Victoria graciously gave her name to the hotel and her coat-of-arms is built into the gables. Situated in a country setting overlooking Stratford canal. Seven beautifully appointed bedrooms, all en-suite, have colour TV, radio-alarms, hair-dryers, hot beverage makers, central heating and full fire certificate, with free WiFi internet access.
Queen Victoria stayed as a guest, when she was a Princess and it was a Spa. Captain Bruce Bairnsfather (cartoonist creator of "Old Bill" during the Great War) lived here, also Sir Barry Jackson (founder of the Birmingham Repertory Theatre).
This delightful accommodation is located 1 mile from the town centre, in a quiet location with ample parking. We are a 20 minute walk along the canal towpath into town and a 5 minute walk to the nearby Park & Ride.
Enjoy a full English or vegetarian breakfast in a most elegant, antique furnished dining room. Open all year round, Victoria Spa Lodge is approved by AA, Heart of England Tourist Board, Best B&B, Fromers and many more. It also appears in the Michelin Guide 2009.
